I just saw that.  So what does overnight in Cozumel really mean?  Leave at 6 am or actually get 2 full days there?

Hmmmm,,,,, the Sun is in Cozumel. Not leaving until 6 pm on Sep 1. But they hope to have her back in Port Canaveral by Sep 2. They must have put in some super duper engines during the dry dock because the trip from Cozumel to PC normally takes 1 1/2 days. 

 

Norwegian Sun - August 29, 2019 Sailing
Norwegian Sun departed from Port Canaveral, Florida on Thursday, August 29, 2019 as scheduled.  The ship will spend a day at sea on Friday, August 30, and will now overnight in Cozumel, Mexico on August 31, departing September 1 at 6 p.m.  At this time, we are uncertain if the ship will be able to return to Port Canaveral on Monday, September 2.  We are in communication with the United States Coast Guard, as to the availability of Norwegian Sun to return to Port Canaveral on September 2. We will provide an update by 3 p.m. or sooner on Sunday, September 1.
