San Francisco cruise terminal

Does the cruise ship pier in SF have wi-fi?  I want to call Uber from there but my ipad will only work with a wi-fi connection.

I am guessing you don't have access to a smart phone with the Uber app on it?

 

I wouldn't be counting on the Terminal having wifi.

The Port does not.

However, San Francisco has free wifi in most of it's parks.  You can find info here:

The closest parks are about a 10 minute walk from the port -- Sue Bierman Park and Justin herman Plaza ( Embarcadero Plaza ).

It might just be easier finding a cab-- I cant imagine the Uber app works very well if you are tethered to WiFi.

Are you wanting to use Uber for a trip to SFO or for going someplace else? Going someplace else (meaning no luggage), I'd just walk across the street (more or less) to Starbucks.
