Since it covers drinks up to a set price, you should be able to request a brand of liquor that is within the limit.  I have learned to request the brand I want as at times the bartenders will pour well liquor even when we have the Premium. Package

I already have the drink package on my upcoming cruise but going to pay attention to how much Im using it for future.  I think this would be a great option overall, I have no problem booking the cruises with no perks and going with something like this

Thats great news then as we are cruising on the eclipse 13 October and do not have a drink package!  We did get a great price on a 1C balcony cabin though...
