Christmas gift (card with bonus?) for Butler on Seabourn?

We will be on Seabourn over Christmas. In addition to the crew welfare fund, does anyone give the Butler/Steward a holiday gift or card (With or without money or a gift card)?

I would avoid gift cards as they likely could be to places that the butler or room steward cannot use.  Cash IMHO is a better option along with a card.

Thank you, got my sailings mixed up! (A good problem to have). Seabourn is my June 2020 sailing, on a different line this Christmas, but thanks so much for responding!

You're also assuming your butler celebrates a holiday at or near the one you do which might not be the case given the diverse international background of any cruise line's crew.

i always give a few dollars or euros. I don'[t think gift cards are very handy as they will go home after their contracts...

Even if the crew member doesn't celebrate Christmas, i am sure they will gladly accept a card stuffed with cash. 🙂

We always bring a card and give something.
