lcookie Posted November 10, 2019 Author #153 Share Posted November 10, 2019 (edited) Afterwards we took a scroll around downtown by foot hitting up a few spots we wanted to check off our list. ' Daiquiri Island Rum Cake Outlet Straw Market I didn't know these still existed. After that we just wondered around aimlessly until we got ready to head back to the boat. lcookie Posted November 10, 2019 Author #156 Share Posted November 10, 2019 Nassau is a nice port similar to most others we have visited. I think some of the negativity circled around the port is that almost every cruise ship ports here so people have Nassau fatigue. Are there things that could be better - Yes. Can you enjoy yourself if you have an open mind - Also Yes. I am glad that we took the time to slow down and explore the downtown area this trip. All the other times we ported we hopped on the first thing smoking to the beaches. I wanted to do something different this time. I hope they get those renovations done as it could do wonders for the port. A few pic headed back onboard

lcookie Posted November 10, 2019 Author #159 Share Posted November 10, 2019 By some act of "GOD" Teeny was talked into joining in on the deck party games. This was like a Mother's Day Miracle. She is not one to come out of her shell easily but her little pool buddies convinced her to do so. Hooray for them. She even enjoyed it but she did not want to show it. Top it off her team won!

lcookie Posted November 10, 2019 Author #163 Share Posted November 10, 2019 After dinner we dropped Teenie off at kids club and headed to the second comedy show. Just like the first show this comedian had a hard time keeping our attention. We left part way through again and went to the room. On the way we picked up the little one to get ready for the GLOW PARTY!

lcookie Posted November 11, 2019 Author #174 Share Posted November 11, 2019 So I was going back over the review and noted that I never told you all how I got Mama and Teenie to go on the Bio tour before the cruise. Those who are following the VLOGS also can skip this part as you already know. One of the main reasons I booked with BK was that they not only had kayak tours they also had river rafting tours as well. The boats are extra wide, fit 10 people, and if you fall you go into the belly of the boat not the drink. Also, the thin CANT!!!! flip over under regular circumstances. This eased their nerves enough to go along with the plan. Regular kayak boat Our boat
lcookie Posted November 11, 2019 Author #175 Share Posted November 11, 2019 Back to our regularly scheduled show - Good Morning from GSC. I have never tendered before but I have heard stories of many boats missing port due to weather. This was not going to be the case for us today. When I got topside the water was as calm as can be and there were no rain clouds to be found. Off in the (very near) distance was Perfect Day at CooCoo Cay along with an Oasis Class ship. I want to take a trip there but am going to wait a while until RC recoups some of their investment. Their prices are just not competitive at this time. I must say that when I first saw GSC from the boat I was not too impressed. (I would later find out that the little one shared my same thoughts) The boat anchors along a rocky shoreline and a bluff wall blocks most of the view of the beach. Looking over the side I saw the tender boats loading supplies and workers to man the island. Aftermath of the anchor drop
