Cruise Suggestions - Florida Adventure and Excitement

Having a hard time finding the right cruise to take the wife on.  Her first cruise, but not mine.  We really love all the exciting amenities of the big, new ships.  The water parks, sports, go kart racing, and all that are super exciting, BUT... those ships all seem to go on longer voyages than we can currently commit to.

We live in SWFL, and are planning a trip for the wife's 30th birthday, which is in early April.  In order to be able to invite some friends, and not put the grandparents in an early grave, we're trying to do a 3-5 night cruise. Probably looking at late March or early April, with flexible dates. We're OK with sailing out of any port in Florida, although Tampa, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale would be preferable.

I can't seem to find the right way to search for this.  Can anyone make a suggestion?

Take a closer look at Royal Caribbean.  They have some shorter itineraries on their Voyager and Freedom Class ships.  Navigator is a great ship with Flowrider, waterslides, ice rink, etc, and does 3/4 night cruises.

Just be aware that's Spring Break season and short cruises can be a little more rowdy during that time.

And to add theses shorter cruises tend to be more party cruises typically with younger crowds on board.  But if you go to any of the mass market cruise line's websites they will have search filters for length of cruise, desired cruise regions, and departure ports which will provide information about the ships and itineraries that will fit your criteria. Or you can talk with a cruise specialist travel agent and let them make recommendations for you.
