emam Posted October 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2019 I'm just curious as to what advice P&O have given to people while docking at Barcelona with all of the unrest that is going on. I am presuming that they are still docking there as we haven't heard any different. Also to those who have gone ashore, what was it like in the streets? Someone I work with went to Barcelona last weekend (not on a cruise) and she said she hardly saw anything!

Monorail Orange Posted October 27, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 27, 2019 Such a shame for anyone on those cruises looking forward to going to the city - but I completely understand the decision made.

A permanent transfer to anywhere else would suit me fine, a once a decade visit to Barcelona, Rome or Florence is more than enough for me.
Britboys Posted October 28, 2019 #7 Share Posted October 28, 2019 A great shame for anyone diverted. Barcelona is a beautiful city with loads to see and do. I've spent a long weekend there and also visited three times on cruises but there is still plenty I haven't seen/done.
