Hello all, so I was going to purchase some ginger ale for our cabin since we are flying in. I went online to order them and didn't see it as an option anymore? Has anyone else noticed?

Well as I was scrolling down I did see where they are changing from Coke to Pepsi so what will they sell until then?

I just checked on our late Dec cruise and the in room beverage options no longer include cans of soda.

im not a soda drinker but it will be interesting to see how many other rooms load up on the Mountain Dew!

Whether you're flying in the day before or the morning of your cruise, and are taking a taxi or Uber for transportation, why not ask the driver to stop at a store along the way so you can purchase some cans of ginger ale to take on board?

Beach bum that's a good idea, better than dragging a 12 pack around. I guess carnival is pushing their bubbles program.

how do you set that up in the app for the uber to make a stop

According to a tweet from Carnival they are into a transition plan from Coke to Pepsi and are depleting existing inventory, so it would appear that online sale of soda may not return until the Pepsi contract is in effect.  They even told a guy who had pre-ordered Coke that he might want to cancel the order now and just lug his own Coke aboard.

I'm not sure that you can do that ahead of time. When the driver comes to pick you up, just ask if there is a store along the way where you can stop to purchase some ginger ale (or whatever soft drinks you're looking for). It wouldn't have to be a grocery store. Most any convenience store (7/11, UDF, etc.) would suffice. We've done that before and never had a problem. Of course, if you're flying in the day before and are planing to book a hotel, call the hotel you're considering before booking and ask if there's any place close by where you can purchase a 12-pack.
