RCCLNYMETS41 Posted November 17, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2019 Is there any difference if you book online or call Royal to book? I know the control of the reservation is different if a TA is involved.

B-52 Posted November 17, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2019 We Are Diamond + and have always booked ourselves directly online......However, I usually follow up with a call the next day or so to ensure I did get the best price, only to find we were not getting a discount or two we were entitled to. taglovestocruise Posted November 17, 2019 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2019 Book direct, follow up to make sure everything is in place, make any changes you come up with and then transfer to a TA within 60 days of booking to pick up a few hundred in perks. Clarea Posted November 18, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 18, 2019 Used to be that if you booked online, you could change staterooms and cancel the cruise online, but they may have removed those capabilities.
toxicfairy Posted November 18, 2019 #6 Share Posted November 18, 2019 I have done both However I like booking over the phone now. Basically because they have been able to see things I couldn't. Like if a particular cabin I wanted was available but not showing online and different little things. Just a more personal experience.
