Upgrading the Easy Drink Package to Premium

Interesting, we have 2 MSC cruises coming up. 

 

1. For the Caribbean cruise on the Meraviglia the upgrade from Easy drink to Premium is $189 USD per person for the week. 

2. For our Mediterranean cruise on the Seaview, it is only $98 CAD per person per week. 

 

Huge difference!!!

The Premium and Prem+ drinks packages are cheaper on Med cruises (little difference between Easy in either region), but the offerings are more limited than on US-based ones - hence the price difference.

Good morning from Ottawa! We are looking to book a cruise on the Divina in February. The deal I am looking at includes the easy drink package. You commented on upgrading to the premium package. Are you able to do that prior to boarding or is it only available once you are on the ship? Thanks for your help!

If you upgrade on board you will be liable for the gratuity of 15%, cheaper to do it pre cruise

Can someone explain where and how to do this pre-cruise. I don't see anything on-line and loathe the idea of another extremely long wait on hold if the only way to find out the upgrade cost and or purchase the upgrade.

 

If anyone knows the upgrade cost for the meraviglia sailing on December 8th, that might save a long call to msc to find out and decide on the cost.

It's $27usd from Easy to Premium. Onboard, add the 15%  You'll have to call, or do it through your TA if you booked through one.  Can't do it online.

We had our TA do it for us, same cruise, Meraviglia on December 8.
