Port Canaveral - Is there a special drop area for checked luggage with The Key?

We are leaving Sunday.  Is there any special area to drop checked luggage at the pier if you have the Key?  I know about the carrry-on luggage after you board.

No there isn't. You just hand it to the porters like everyone else but there is a special drop area for carry on once you get on the ship.

Someone posted that the carryon luggage was left unattended. I wonder if this is usual. 

I keep my CPAP with me, and my meds, but it would be wonderful if there was a guaranteed dependable way not to have to drag it around with me till our stateroom is ready. 

Evidently the Key isn’t the answer.

Even with Key and they didnt leave my stuff alone I wouldnt use it for meds and valuables.
