If you purchase a plan before final payment then it will pay for any loss (assuming it's a covered event). So sure, you'd get your $100 back. But probably not the future cruise credit (not sure how that'd work). People who need pre-existing condition waivers have to purchase 7-14 days after first deposit. Geez. You said the whole deposit would be lost. Not why that would not be the case in any circumstance except for yours.
