Grocery Store near Hotel Ft Lauderdale

Help! Does anyone know of a Hilton brand or other type hotel near the port, beach or downtown that would be walking distance to a grocery store.  Taking Amtrak home; will have a cooler so want to bring our own food on the train. Will not have a car.

Embassy Suites on 17th St.  There's a Publix behind the hotel.

Agree...discussed here almost daily. Also the Hilton Marina, close to a Walgreens, and a couple blocks further from the Publix.

17th St. is the place to be.  Embassy Suites and Hyatt Place are there.  Check the websites for pictures.

The Doubletree Gallery One has a Publix across the street, a nice mall behind it, and the ocean two blocks away.

Thanks for that info.  I knew about the mall, but not the Publix.  I may try Gallery One when I'm in Ft. Lauderdale next January.
