Is there a bar on the Sky Princess that replaces Crooners?  We always enjoyed drinks before dinner at Crooners.  Where do we go for predinner drinks on the Sky Princess?

Crown Grill Bar/area is the same as the Wheelhouse Bar/area on the Royal and Regal.

But correct no Wheelhouse as we knew it.  😕

Yes I forgot Vines.

I would not assume anything with the new ships coming.

Yes, while on the Sky we spoke with some of the officers who confirmed that Crooners would be coming back to the Enchanged, but on Deck 6 where the Photo Gallery is now; basically right below where it is on the earlier Royal Class ships.

 

I would also note that we found Take 5 to be very reminiscent of the Wheelhouse on the Grand Class ships, in terms of basic layout and "vibe" (with jazz music and dancing), although the decor is very different (as is all the decor on the Sky). The Wheelhouse has always been our favorite pre-dinner spot on the earlier ships, and we very much enjoyed our pre-dinner (and post-dinner) cocktails and jazz at Take 5.

I've commented about this before, but I'm glad that Princess is trying out new things and not making all the ships near duplicates of each other.  I also really like that they are trying out new concepts and usage of space.  I'm excited to see some of the venues change and the focus of the venue change, too.  It keeps Princess fresh in a highly competitive industry.

I thought Take5 was an excellent sub for Crooners and in fact a lot nicer.  Live music every night and a beautiful ambiance.  Great cocktails too.

Agree.  We spent some time in Take 5 most days on our recent b2b TA.  Really enjoyed the low key ambience and the music.

I agree. I spent a lot of time there myself.
