Iona Fest... Again

Apologies for starting a new thread for this.

 

P&O have announced Pixie Lott and The Script for the July 4th naming ceremony. 

 

Just wondered what your thoughts are on this exciting announcement... 😊

I wish P&O would announce who will be on earlier sailings eg in the Limelight Club etc as this would be more relevant to those of us booked on them!  Pixie Lott and The Script might appeal to the 30/40s if that's who they are trying to entice, I mean appeal to!  I think it's sneaky the way this has been announced after a lot of people have already booked other dates.  Also, perhaps passengers on that sailing might have preferred to know in advance.

I am sure I have seen a list of the acts appearing in the Limelight?

I think you will find the list was just for Britannia, even though it was on the Iona page.

I only glanced to see who was on my Britannia cruise, but thought it was for both.

Dont know why they could not have done it a week later when I was on board.  I think its rather rude of them to not consider me when organising it.

Knowing my luck, I wont even get both of them, they will have to make do with just one, as all the budget will have been blown on the previous week.

It's alright Sarah, you have the other Krankie.. They couldn't afford them both at the same time as they have spent all the budget on Pixie Lott... 😊

Well that would be something to look forward to  😂 I seem to remember someone suggested Sooty & Sweep a few months ago, if they were onboard that would make my husband’s holiday!

Yeah they will be there, but the person who operates them won't be, so not much of a show😊
