Or sometimes they pop down from the ceiling.
shipgeeks Posted February 12, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2020 On Seaside we saw a sofa that could be made up as a bunk bed.
Até Posted February 12, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2020 (edited) On Preziosa most #3/4 beds on insides fold down from the ceiling. Below link shows one down and one still up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyTOQvhhZMw Edited February 12, 2020 by Até
Rare Essiesmom Posted February 12, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2020 There seems to be a mixture on this class of ship. Some cabins have the two upper bunks mounted on the side walls: (Divina 8009) Others have the bunks recessed into the ceiling, as in this picture of an OV cabin:
neptuno Posted February 12, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 12, 2020 When using the two upper bunks it helps to split the lower double into two beds, split and therefor accessible from the middle aisle.
cmukid87 Posted February 12, 2020 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2020 There is no doubt it is a tight squeeze. We were pretty cramped and it was with two kids (7 and 2 at the time).

sandyoftheseas Posted February 13, 2020 #9 Share Posted February 13, 2020 I think the hardest part is figuring out the showering arrangement. I went on a cruise with 3 women and for us it worked out because we had an early riser who would shower first then the other 2 would decide about their shower schedule. I have not been on an MSC cruise yet but on Princess you can go to the spa to take a shower also. I would recommend an over the door shoe organizer for all stuff maybe even 2 one for the bathroom and one for the room.
