Julieh40 Posted February 21, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2020 Question- Are you able to charge what you spend in the casino to your on board account?
cincicruisers Posted February 21, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2020 Yes. They will charge a small fee to charge to room.
Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted February 21, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2020 3% fee unless you gain high status or play enough to convince a host to waive them. Max is $1000/day and the transaction is coded as travel (if you have credit card that rewards you extra for travel transactions, use that card). Casino ATM fee was $5.99 on the Jade last month; that may vary by ship. Slots payout is about 80% which is roughly 10% less than land casinos. Table games also often have less favorable odds/rules than land based casinos.

Anything you pull out in the casino is just lumped into your overall charges on that cruise so it does not show up as a cash advance, just a 'purchase'. Nice if your credit card gives you a percent back for your charges. If you earn 2500 or more points during the cruise, talk with a host at the end of the cruise as they can comp items off your bill. adam3313 Posted February 22, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2020 Actually the max is $3000/day. If you need more than that, you can ask for clearance from the finance manager for $2000 more for a total of $5000/day.
Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted February 22, 2020 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2020 (edited) I was on the Epic this past May and the Jade last month, I asked what the maximum amount per day I could take out and both pit-bosses told me the max is $1000/day. With the Epic I had zero play under my belt but with the Jade they could probably see my previous Epic play so its a head-scratcher why I was told $1000/day, twice. Perhaps I simply look like a grand a day kind of guy (lol). Don't ask how much the max is, simply tell them how much you want is the moral of the story. WYB! Posted February 22, 2020 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2020 (edited) I was on the Gem last week (Feb 2020) and the casino managers said I could withdraw up to $3k per day + 3%. I used this option to calculate how much I need to get to 30k in points which I'll use for a meta upgrade on a future cruise on my NCL BOA card. https://www.ncl.com/world-points Edited February 22, 2020 by WYB!
