Something like this will create an aversion to travel for a time to come long after the immediate threat disappears. Agreed. Seasoned cruisers may return when things calm down, but new cruisers will not be flocking to ships. This is a long term stain on the industry. And older folks or those with health issues may now likely never take that first cruise. NCL can jack up prices as high as they want, but the free market will dictate prices long term or NCL will be out of business.
Rare graphicguy Posted March 9, 2020 #28 Share Posted March 9, 2020 (edited) Off Carnival Vista 2 weeks ago. Just pulled the trigger 15 minutes ago on an Escape Haven Spa Suite for less than $3.4K with all the goodies and nearly $1K in OBC. Sailing 3/28-4/05. samfiremedic Posted March 9, 2020 #30 Share Posted March 9, 2020 Can anyone explain this? The lead in price, but then it's no where to be found at booking and prices are way different. I usually see the issue, but I'm lost.
