Quick ? For confusion over deposit refund before final pmt

Couldn’t find the answer in previous threads.

 

We are booked for June sailing (before the deadline).  Final payment is April 1 and we are 70 and pretty healthy but taking 2 grandchildren so will most likely cancel.

 

Can I expect a FCC for my deposit amount ($100 each/$400)?

Did you book a cruise with a refundable or non refundable deposit?

A refundable deposit will receive the entire deposit back refunded to the credit card.

 

a non refundable deposit will see the entire deposit as a FCC (the $100pp cancellation fee will be waived)

It is non refundable so thanks for your reply.  We should get a FCC.  Okay, got it.  Thank you.

 

I also need to get my cabana refunded which I believe will go to my credit card.

We cancelled our cruise for March 15.  We have another scheduled for August.  We will keep the August cruise, unless we must cancel that one also- will wait until we are closer to the cruise.  The warm weather is supposed to minimize the corona virus so we have a wait and see attitude now.

Now the fcc will be issued individually to each passenger booked

My understanding is they are not issuing one fcc to the person who paid.  Not sure how grandchildren will be handled.

Any excursions or bookings for cabanas water parks dining packages etc will be refunded to your credit card.
