Just got assigned a cabin!?!?

I just checked to see if my cancelled transatlantic cruise on Anthem was removed from my upcoming list. Still there and since last night I’ve gotten my cabin assignment. Really, Royal Caribbean!  Anyway since waiting on hold again for well over an hour is not an option, , I sent an email. Has anyone gotten a response that way recently?

I'd guess cabin assignments are automatic computer generated, and the cancellations are manual and backed up.

It's a game of chicken right now. Royal is hoping that lots of people cancel before they shut down for a few months

so they can offer FCC instead of paying full refunds.

What category did you book and what was your assignment?

Don’t worry it’s quite the norm. I had to cancel my cruise for this Sunday and then Royal cancelled it anyway. I have had phone conversations and emails (back and forth) and it’s still live. I look at it and dream! I just accept that it will get sorted at some point.

I booked an interior guarantee. I was assigned 8311. I just checked and now they sent me the guest ticket booklet. Not one word about the fact I cancelled this cruise!
