Well, I was happy for about 20 minutes earlier this evening😠 Definitely a dramatic ending to the game. Big home runs, blown saves by  (usually) lights-out pitchers, several lead changes that had the Yankees on the wrong side.  At least the manager of the Yankees took my advice & is batting Stanton behind Judge. 😉

I don't like to look too far ahead.  As the great Yogi Berra said "It ain't over until  it's over".

As for the Mets, it's not looking too good. After they run they have been on the last few weeks, to get blown out like they did the last 2 games is disheartening I think they just ran out of gas.

But those are just games for entertainment. The real happy news is that your hand it okay.

Thanks very much,H.Now if only the rest of me was okay.I have 17 medical problems and for 2 there are no cures.I am severely depressed most of the time .Posting on CC helps a bit but reading about the activities that everyone is engaged in with the realization that I can no longer do any of it wants me at times to stop posting .

However,I enjoy the interaction with many of those who post here, one of whom is you.

I have around $70 ish extra obc I can either eat something or buy stuff. The 29.99 leaves quite a bit, so I have no issue using it if it works. The one end does plug into my plug. Yes I can easily wait but I dont want to order one Idk will work.

My tablet is a S3. One of those with every program known to mankind for work I guess, none of which I use. I have a game I needed more resources for this works for. In fact the bad news is I have 2 of these tablets, though the other some friend tried to get into it and cracked the screen. I'd say I paid $500 and maybe $650 back when I bought them. One time the other one didnt reboot and my know it all friend tried to pry off the screen and cracked it. Still works. So since they wouk with my game I've played forever a war game I play with the boys, I dont care too much about trying to replicate it on amazon. The one in the photo shop onboard, you had to plug 2 of those little end pieces into each other in other to connect to the charging port in my tablet. He didnt seem ro know the size either but he knew how to plug 2 of those ends into each other to plug into the tablet. I've eaten myself to death so I dont mind paying if I know it works.

The 340 lunch onboard is a filet mignon day 2. Day 1 is turnaround so I dont need more food or to gamble in the casino. He took one out of the box and we plugged it in and it works but I'm not sure I like plugging 2 ends into each other to  make it work? Seems a little jimmied. I'd prefer a cord that both ends plug in directly, but this was the closest he had. He says the one in the shops isnt run by royal so he cant comment.

I agree no hurry. The black electric tape has worked for quite a while, but I wouldnt mind replacing it if this is as good as I can do. For reasons that seem random I added rhe next 2 weeks much later than this week and they both have quite a bit of extra obc. Either bogo or I can spend spend spend.. a wow bracelet... idk what else other than food I'd even want to buy. I'm flying cant be more towels, I'm full up anyway. Dont have suitcase space for bulky purchases.

From the Samsung website, the Galaxy Tab S3 has a USB-C connector.  To charge your tablet, you will need a cable with a USB-A connector on one end (to fit into the charging brick that plugs into the wall) and a USB-C connector on the other end (to plug into your tablet).  If you want to wait to buy a new cable online, you will have an overwhelming number of options for various brands, lengths, colors, etc.  If you want to buy onboard, just be sure that you have USB-A on one end and USB-C on the other end.  This should be listed on the box.

Edit: I would guess that someplace onboard will have a specific USB-A to USB-C cable, since this is such a common type of cable.  You don't need the 3 in 1 flexibility.  It's possible though that the ship only carries 3 in 1 designs to save space, since the 3 in 1 cable would work for many different devices.  It's just a little bulkier and more expensive.

I recently bought a 2 pack of USB-A to USB-C cables to put into our cars.  Both my car and Micheline's car have a place in the compartment between the front seats to plug in a USB-A cable, and we both have iPhones that have a USB-C jack.  I didn't want a lot of extra cable to coil up, so I went with a 3-foot length.  They've worked great so far.  Cost for 2 such cables was $6.  Here's what I got from Amazon:

Amazon.com: etguuds 2-Pack 3ft USB C Cable 3A Fast Charge, USB A to Type C Charger Cord Braided for Samsung Galaxy A15 A25 A35 A55 A54, S24 S23 S22 S21 S20 S10 S10E, Note 20 10, Moto G, for iPhone 16 15 : etguuds: Electronics

I went with an inexpensive brand since it had the "Amazon's Choice" label.  Anker is a high quality brand that I trust and you can get the same Anker brand cables for $8:

Amazon.com: Anker USB to USB C Cable [2 Pack, 3FT], USB A to USB C Charger Cord for Samsung Galaxy S10 S10+, LG V30, Beats Fit Pro and More (USB 2.0, Black) : Electronics

Don't worry that neither of the above list your specific model of tablet.  There are hundreds of devices that use this cable and they can't list them all.

I’ve always said, I’d rather heat my pool than the house. 😄

Is the Science Museum in London still open ?We were there when it first opened and many times afterward .It was one of my favorite museums .My kids loved going there when they were young.

Roughly 30 feet is typical of Bluetooth range, depending on how many obstacles (walls, floors, etc) are in the way. Outside with minimal obstacles, maybe longer?

I know!   That 30 foot range is what I thought, but nearest neighbor is about 200 feet away.  A class 1 Bluetooth will have a 300-400 foot range, but I didn’t think they had class 1 in iPads or tvs

So if I understand you one end is a A and one end is a C. ? Its the A end that is harder to fit.

We seem to be in fog today I can see rhe surfers surfing away, but cant see anything around the ship but fog. Not a good day if you wanted to lay in the sun. Tonight is lobster night, my favorite. This is the only ship I've been on that has fillet mignon for the 340 lunch. Adventure had a food blackened salmon, but their steak was terrible. I knew better and got the salmon, but all 3 men who ordered the steak said gristle. But harmony does fillet mignon. And pinnacles got surf n turf. So I really dont  eed to buy more food lol. I was just iffy on the 3 in 1 the way you have to plug in two of those pieces to get to the A place on my tablet to charge it. Seems rinky dinky to plug several pieces together to use it. My dad was a electrical engineer so I knew that black electrical tape would work for now. Didnt learn much but I'm a black electric tape fan. 340 pt lunch fillet mignon. It was yummy. And those 150 garlicky rolls. But imo adventure overall had better food.

This is a multi cable adapter I picked up as a give away at a conference years ago.

This must have been before usb-c, because that is one that is missing from this adapter.  I guess you can see why there was a push for one standard.
