Carnival trivia..a little fun

A question and a why. What is call sign for carnival panorama?  Why? I have a cruise friend who likes to put call signs on his cruise tshirts. I thought it might be a cool gift to etch on shot glasses.

Adding Holiday and Celebration....also all of the Fantasy class if you want to include the time the company changed all of their names from XXXX to Carnival XXXX.  For example, the "Fantasy" was renamed "Carnival Fantasy"

As I recall, after helping found NCL, he left to form Carnival which was already in business (I think) as a subsidiary of a travel firm.  In taking over the Carnival operation, it's my recollection that he assumed control from the former owners for $1...and also assumed their debts in the process.  As I recall, one of his first actions was to start the "Fun Ship" promotion, which has endured to this day.

 

In retrospect (and assuming my memory is correct), it turned out to be a pretty sweet deal for the Arison family.
