A good read

A well written article by a gentleman who knows about which he is writing.  His Commodore title was due to his years as a Master of Cunard vessels.

What he says about the concern for proper sanitary conditions on a cruise ship confirm with my experiences since 1970.  I have experienced several Behind the Scenes Tours on different ships.  Nothing that I ever saw caused me a bit of doubt as to how well protected I was.  When questions were asked of the ship's Environmental Officer, there was no waffling as to what was being asked about.

The cruise industry was among the first to have "fingers pointed" at them because of the spread of this dreadful virus.

There will be in the many days that lie ahead more "fingers to be pointed" as to where the responsibility lies for the lives lost, the inconvenience experienced by millions, and an American and world economy, and I hope I am wrong, that will make the Depression of the "30's" pale in comparison.
