Still six days from the end of six weeks..when I'll be rattling their chains.

Jancruz1 Well, we'd like to get our money even close to the amount of time we GAVE them our freaking money. And we'd rather not get in line with other unsecured creditors. As @donaldsc said, for a new/almost new cruiser sure doesn't bode well for doing business with them in the future.

Did you book last minute?? Usually final payments are 90 days prior so a Deposit would be at least that long or longer if you booked well in advance So Oceania is saying 90 days for refunds so the same amount of time ...Right???

Here's part of the email acknowledging my cancellation: "Applicable refunds will be processed. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the credit to appear on the credit card used, depending on your credit card cycle." I'll double check but believe six weeks is June 10.

No. When you cancel a cruise the money you paid is now yours, O chooses to wait up to 90 days to give you YOUR money. The same would be if final payment time came around and the final payment amount would now be theirs, but you had the option to up to 90 days before the cruise and YOU choose to wait until the last week before the cruise to pay. As far as Clo being told it was her opinion, it appears more that she has her own actions to take which includes her option to not cruise with O anymore. I personally wouldn't go that far as I will give O the option to hold my future cruise booking as an option for the amount of days it takes them to return my money from the cruises I have cancelled. Seems fair, if I have to wait 85 days for a refund, then they can either wait 85 days for me to put down a deposit on my cruise booking. My money, my choice. I have plenty other places to spend my money. Not an opinion. My opinion... O delaying refunds is not a very good gesture of goodwill in my opinion.

You've been able to check CC transactions daily for decades.

And except for that one email acknowledging the cancellation - and saying "six week" aka 42 day not 90, I've not heard another word from them. Not a single 'make nice' email. I've gotten plenty from United and some from another airline and cruise company.

And when I hit that final day, well, you know that expression "when they go low, we go high."? Well, I'm going very, very high. And threatening.
