lswilmot Posted September 17, 2020 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2020 Has there been any updates? Checked with RCCL today, and their word is that they are still going to Nassau in early November. I haven't heard or seen that the Bahamas have opened their ports yet.
lhsail Posted September 20, 2020 #5 Share Posted September 20, 2020 Also looking for any updates, thoughts. Our son is supposed to be getting married at the end of November on Harbor Island.

Lockdowns and 14 day quarantines are still in effect and hotels are annoouncing extended closings "until further notice". Some rental homes are giving false information about what people can and can't do. Right now, those arriving can only go from airport to your rental without stopping even for groceries. Noone is allowed to leave the property for 14 days. Beaches are only open from 5am to noon. And only those homes ON the beach allow access. Making a wedding nearly impossible. Keep checking. Thank you for the information. The venue where they planned for the ceremony is closed until at least October 1st and I was personally concerned that they might get false/overly optimistic Information. Just yesterday our son called and said they are actively looking for a place to have the ceremony in south Florida where they live. This will be Plan C for them. Not easy to get married in 2020. fla gang Posted October 25, 2020 #8 Share Posted October 25, 2020 Spoke to a rep at the Atlantis yesterday and he said they are hoping to open the end of December but it all depends on what the Bahamian government tells them. I have been trying to get a refund for a cancelled wedding stay due to the hotel being closed.
