EZ air with British Airways.?

Have been playing around with EZ Air for our May2021 cruise. I know it my not actually set sail but am having fun thinking about it 

 

It seems that even if you book a business class seat on British airways itself(not code share with American)you cannot pick your seat.  

Has anyone been able to pick their seat before checkin 24hrs before the flight?

Yes, especially in business class. I had to call them to do it. It seems that not all the pertinent information BA requires always gets transferred from EZ-Air. Be prepared with your passport info, that's what was missing in our case.

Similar experience to beg3yrs. I went to the  BA website using the confirmation number I got got from EZ Air.  Seat selection became available after I completed all passenger info. I did not need to speak to anyone.

Yes! Our experience was long before COVID and customer service phone lines are now jammed. Get your PNR / Record Locator off the EZ-Air web-page and do it on-line.

I have Premium Economy seats booked for May 2, 2021 through EZ Air on British Airways from Heathrow to Calgary and was able to pick the seats at the time of booking.

Sometimes you actually have book the flights before being able to select seats . Sometimes you use the flight reservation number on the BA site to select,your seats.

Yes we used BA to Rome using EZAir/BA and yes we picked our seats in advance!

You can but you have to pay for it....I think it's $35/pp.

Just changed our flights for April TA, now BA business class LHR -SAN.   Was able to select seats once I put I. Frequent Flyer #.

It depends on your executive club status with BA and the fare level of the ticket purchased/held. BA will charge for some passengers/fare levels even in business class.

You can choose your seat if you PAY.  We regularly pay about $440-$880 for seat assignments because I happen to love the very last seat in Bus. Class in the corner.  Then no one has to step over my feet.  Flight attendants also know about these corner seats - best in the class.

I've flown these flights often (#272, #273) and I always, always have to pay for seat assignments even with our FF#s.  You must have status?
