The old Home Lines Oceanic was also a Peace Boat, after being a BIG RED BOAT. Ran into her in Manhattan.

The Carnivale also sailed for Peace Boat as Topaz from 2003-2008. Peace Boat was the final operator for Oceanic and Ocean Dream.

Our first cruise was on Home Lines then Big Red Boat - then Home Lines again out of NYC - during the days family/friends were allowed onboard for bon voyage parties, and streamers were allowed to be thrown off the pier to the departing ships! Every time I see a ship I had once sailed on scrapped it makes me so sad. Edited December 7, 2020 by pe4all
