Rare Australia08 Posted September 24, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2020 Where is the Smoking area on the Pacific Princess? I'm choosing a minisuite and want to be sure I'm not on the same side of the ship as the smoking area. Thanks.
FolksOfMeans - ByNoMeans Posted September 24, 2020 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2020 From what I recall, Port Side, Forward; near the Pool Bar, on Deck 9. Can not recall any other place.

beg3yrs Posted September 25, 2020 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2020 We boarded in Civitavecchia in December of 2019 and it was on deck 9 forward of the pool on the starboard side. Lido deck smoking area on starboard side by the aft doors.
Rare Hlitner Posted September 25, 2020 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2020 Somebody raised an interesting issue. If you must wear masks whenever you are out and about on a ship, will they even have a smoking area? Hank

Hank That would be nice for the non-smokers like us, but in reality no different than masks off for eating and drinking. Also, I was under impression masks not required on open decks. Masks serve no real purpose outdoors.

When you are in close proximity to others outside yes you should be wearing a mask

Also, briefly passing by one another walking to and fro is hardly a concern, but they may have a rule - who knows? Many of the rules are not particularly based on real scientific risk.
