Cancelled cruise refund question (for millionth time?)

First, let me apologize if this is answered elsewhere, When I searched, I got so many results on ANYTHING with refund/cancel/etc....

My question to you is- My free casino cruise was cancelled and I have received a convoluted refund that covered my taxes/fees to the penny.  What it didn't cover was the 'cruise insurance' I purchased from and paid RCI for this cruise.  Does anyone know if/when I should expect that refund?

Yes, it is also refunded but will take longer.

I have heard others got refunded rcl travel insurance with casino cruises but I was not refunded on 3 of my casino cruises I had booked for this year.  That was for a march cruise a may cruise and an october cruise.   These were all cancelled by rcl not me.

I called numerous times thinking a different csr would give me a different answer and help in getting those refunds.

No luck with any of them.  

One of the CSRs said I would have to file refund claim directly with their insurance company.  I tried that in july for my march and may cruise and was told No. 

I have 7 or 8 future cruises booked (some thru casino) and am not buying or adding on any prepaid gratuities or insurance til i know they are actually sailing.

Hopefully will be one of the lucky ones and receive your ins. Refund

As Ourusualbeach stated, we got all of ours back but it took longer. I’m assuming they had to wait til they were refunded by the insurance company to return the money.
