nu_cruzer1 Posted October 8, 2020 #51 Share Posted October 8, 2020 Hi. Does anyone know whether you can apply a Canadian $ FCC to a cruise booked through Club Royale? I had thought that you could only book in US$ if you're booking through them. Hoping that someone can spare me from having to call them and being on hold for a while. Junkhouse Posted October 8, 2020 #52 Share Posted October 8, 2020 We moved an October Symphony cruise to a Liberty cruise in February which at the time was the latest we could move. As far as RC knowing they weren't going to start cruising in all of the previous startup dates is like saying they should have cancelled a cruise months before the hurricane hit.

Roger88 Posted October 8, 2020 #54 Share Posted October 8, 2020 Making your cruise shorter doesnt sound like a good deal in any way. So, you better contact the owner or a person in charge to get all these things settle down as soon as possible. I understand that it might cause troubles but I hope you will do just fine
ljason913 Posted October 9, 2020 Author #55 Share Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) I think they allowed us to move our cancelled cruises before, up until end of feb because they knew those cruises would be cancelled as well. because when cruises start back up whenever that is... it will be gradual. one or 2 ships smalls ships short cruises. because when cruising resumes there not going to sail all the ships all at once. and a lot of us moved our bookings to longer cruises. This is a very valid point. I'm, sure the casino will have a limited capacity within itself. Hopefully they will limited the the capacity to those gambling and not those using it as a smoking lounge. Actually, yesterday, I used a FCC from a comped cruise to upgrade a cabin for another comp cruise for next June......I've had five comp cruises cancelled so far this year, took some FCC's and took some refunds. I have six cruises in 2021, five are casino comps. 🙂 For my comped cruises, 125% of zero is zero. No FCC Two cruises in November, one 7 night Harmony and one 11 night Vision. I only could switch to 2 four night Mariner cruises. Losing that 11 night free balcony cruise was a bummer.

kim826 Posted October 12, 2020 #61 Share Posted October 12, 2020 Update: we called and were only offered the short sailings in January or February. They did offer the FCC but we chose the refund.
