Our fully paid Dec 13 cruise was cancelled on Oct 9th by Oceania.  The cancelation letter did not mention the FCC option, only a full refund.  Any one else wondering about this?

The current Travel Update (10/5/20) offers the 125% FCC on fully paid cruises that were scheduled to sail through the end of November.

There's nothing about December cruises on the O website. So, it may be that they'reending the FCCs from that point forward. Who knows???

Here's the current website statement:

At Oceania Cruises, the health, safety and well-being of our guests, crew and the communities we visit has always been and remains our highest priority. Given the continued global efforts to combat the spread of the global COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, we are extending our suspension of voyages to include all voyage departures aboard Marina, Riviera, Nautica, Regatta and Sirena from November 1, 2020 through November 30, 2020.

To make up for the inconvenience of this suspension, guests who are currently booked on voyages departures noted above that are paid in full with cash funds (credit card, check, bank wire) will automatically receive a Future Cruise Credit worth 125% of the cruise fare paid. This is our way of providing even more value to our loyal guests to cruise with us at a later date. This Future Cruise Credit will be issued automatically and may be applied to any voyage on Oceania Cruises anywhere in the world through December 31, 2022 that is booked by October 5, 2021.

Check with your TA.  Ours told us that emails were sent in error. Our Dec 1 cruise is still on .

My TA is investigating tomorrow (Canadian Thanksgiving today).  But if you are correct Oceania should be immediately sending out correction letters or be subject to litigation for formally canceling the cruise and assuming we will still show up.

December cruises' cancelation emails were sent out in error and those December cruises have not actually been canceled, YET.  So to answer your thread title question, "Has Oceania dropped the 125% FCC?": No they have not for any of the cruises they have actually canceled.

We also received the 'erroneous cancellation' email, but we've also received - on Monday - a correction email stating they were sorry, etc, etc.  But my feeling is the only thing in error was the date it was sent.  They already had the emails ready to go with our names and booking number on them, ready to go probably at the end of November.  Will end up paying our final - $750 each - and waiting for our next cancellation email to show up in our inboxes.  At this point we will have to pay the final in order to get another FCC, which is how we paid for the bulk of this 12-20 cruise.  I just don't believe we are out of the woods yet.

We paid if full months ago.  Did receive cancellation notice, but have not received the correction notice.  My TA is trying to get through to Oceania, but the phone lines are clogged.

Georges Gal can you post your correction email (without identifing info)?
