New Casino Royal offer

Hi-

11 Day Southern Caribbean Wayfarer on the Rotterdam leaving 12-01-21 from FLL, $50k slot tournament, $250 casino cash, reduced cabin rates, $880 for a Verandah.

This is a nice cruise for a Casino offer, (I mean itinerary and length wise, usually they are just 7 day cruises) I would bite except that I'm already booked on a Casino cruise on 11-14-21 day Mexican Rivera.

Oh well, maybe next time.

-Paul.

If we didn’t get a letter from HAL offering this rate, (which we never have been offered a Casino Rate), should we contact our TA or should we contact a PCC first?  When booking, we have been offered a reduced rate based on our casino play, but I’m thinking these two are not the same thing?

We had our 10 day to So Caribbean cancelled for this month.

You are correct.  These are not the same.  Not everyone receives these offers that receives the casino discount (reduced rate).  To the best of my knowledge the offers only apply to those that receive them.

If I go to HAL's website and search for 12/2021 sailings of that length, it pops up as the first offering.  $999 inside, $1,299 OV, $1,499 Verandah etc.

When I log in, I get $1,482 for a solo inside, so that dropped to $741/pp.  The Verandah did drop to the $880/pp fare.

Looks to me like it's just a "reduced" fare for me.  Still, a nice savings, but not sure I'd want to sail when the casino will be full of people getting lots of other perks.  Casino will be crowded.

Waiting for my Jan B2B "free" casino sailings on NA to be cancelled.  Maybe I'll get a nice offer once that happens.  Or maybe not.  Who knows?!

When I login to the HAL website I get private sale fares that are actually cheaper than the Casino offer less the Casino cash. Also Casino offers can be solo cruises with no single supplement penalty.

We received the casino offer. The free cruises were all to the Caribbean in march and April. Knew those most likely would not sail. The other offered were very reduced fares, or so I thought. We booked a 15 day Panama Canal for mid April and a great rate for a veranda. Two days ago I checked the sailing and found an offer for EXACTLY the same price, including the OBC. Called my PCC and he said it was because that was an offer for a 4 star mariner, which we are. So, you apparently don’t have to get a casino offer to get the same deal. I sort of feel duped. It was a pay in full at the time of booking, so it is a done deal. Just FYI, if you are 4 star, you may have the same private rate offer
