beloum Posted December 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2020 Sorry if this has been discussed already. Just had my first MSC cruise cancelled (actually 3 of them). On all of them I had various amounts of OBC. The email mentioned compensation of 125% but was wondering if the OBC from the cancelled cruise will carry over to a new booking, or is it lost? sidari Posted December 5, 2020 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2020 The OBC should be carried over, have a feeling a friend who had a cruise cancelled in March has now had the OBC carried over to April 2021.
cellfree Posted December 5, 2020 #4 Share Posted December 5, 2020 Surprised if OBC would carry over from initial cruise. However if you book 5+5 you get OBC - perhaps that is what someone did - cancelled cruise may have had OBC due to booking 5+5 and if the next cruise was booked with 5+5 that cruise would also have an OBC.
sfaaa Posted December 6, 2020 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2020 I lost my OBC, free drink package and internet when my cruise was cancelled.
Rare Shippy Posted December 6, 2020 #6 Share Posted December 6, 2020 We were booked through an Internet TA. When our cruise was cancelled our TA was not only able to pull forward their OBC & free gratuities but also the $100. MSC OBC AND got MSC to reapply the casino discount we had originally used. Dogsrawesome Posted December 6, 2020 #7 Share Posted December 6, 2020 When we rebooked, our obc was automatically subtracted from the cost of the cruise.
