Change 2 people to 4 people

I have 2 people in a 2 person room right now. If I want to move them to a 4 person room and add an additional two people(making it 4 people in a 4 person room), will I be charged a fee for moving the first two people?

I'm in a 2 pax cabin, and might add a 2nd pax. I think I was told a $50 fee for a name change, because I didnt book a TBA. 

 

If you are moving, you could be charged current rate, idk, but that's my guess. Of course call your ta or carnival.

You shouldn't be charged for adding people, other than the price difference which could be substantial if the 4 person cabins are almost gone.

Well if you move from a 2 person cabin to a 4, you might have to pay current rate for the new cabin you moved to u less it's the same category. Try and keep same category.

You may be better off just getting another cabin for 2. Sometimes it's not that much more.

We did that for our upcoming, hope to be cruise at the end of March.

If there was a special low deposit rate, then you may loose the deposits.

That happened to us when we moved a fourth person into another cabin.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I had three rooms together(one person will be a no show). In order to keep 4 balcony rooms together I needed to book a  4 person room so that is what I did. 

So, for 10 of us we can spread out now having a 4 person room, a 3 person room and two 2 people rooms. We will be 6 kids and 4 adults.
