It has very sadly been reported on Facebook by Eric that Max so much enjoyed in the lounges on Azamara has died of Covid. 
Rest in peace Max you will always be my favourite “grumpy Santa Claus”

Yes. Very sorry to read that this morning. He was a bit of a card was Max. RIP.

My dear friend Max. My fiend since 2010. We took him out for lunch in Batumi, Georgia on The Black Sea one memorable day. We laughed a lot at our Georgia escapades. Play piano for us up there drinking a “cawfee”. Rest in Peace.

Sad news, indeed.  We met Max at the airport heading off to one of our earliest Azamara cruises.  Always a pleasure to cruise with him.

Max DiFaz was easy to talk to and easy to listen to. He could play jazz and rock and could read an audience. Lovely man, and missed by those of us who were lucky enough to know him.

Sad news indeed. I shed a tear or two when I heard the news yesterday.

We enjoyed his music on many cruises, also enjoyed chatting with him.
