Sky aft stateroom

We are looking at booking our first aft stateroom on the Sky.  I assume deck 9 would be the best because there are staterooms above and below.  Those of you that have stayed in an aft, does it matter if you are directly in the center or more to the port or starboard side?

We had an aft cabin on the Sky. Deck nine is the best , only rooms above and below  you. I believe we were next to a suite, starboard side. A nice room.

This was our aft room 10264 (top, right under the Great Outdoors in the second picture). It was lovely. We picked a higher deck to be closer to the pool deck and for better views.

We had an aft on Sun for our round the horn cruise. We were one in (the corner suite) from the port side and loved it. I’m sure being in the center might give you slightly better views but we had no issues with where we were.

Thank you... we just booked today and got the center stateroom on deck 9.  We are excited 🙂

Great choice.  We were on Sun aft which is almost identical to Sky except Sky doesn't have aft mini suites like Sun.  Having been on 10 we got a bit of chair scrapping in the a.m. and a bit of food at times.

Remember the corner afts on Sky are penthouse suites.  The middle cabins are balcony cabins.

Same on Sun-corners are suites, then a balcony, then mini-suites-guess now they are called club balconies?  Anywho, if Sky is like Sun, the balcony is deep enough to hold one chaise along with two regular chairs. We asked our steward and he provided us with one. It’s a little bit of a tight fit but it will slide under the angled balcony “rail”. Made for a great place to take a nap under a blanket on our chilly cruise.
