winewanderer Posted March 10, 2021 #27 Share Posted March 10, 2021 Hi everyone, Good everyone is doing well. I was busy the past couple of days. Hubby and I were shoveling dirt at a neighbor's. They had some extra dirt from a project. Then shoveled it into our raised beds. After all that, I forgot to plant our seeds. Duh. So did that yesterday. Try to get my water in. Warmer weather helps.....which we don't have yet.....It got cold today. We might even get some hail. Belle, sorry you were not well but good it was short lived. Nice you had a visit with your kids. My close friends and family will all get vaccinated so looking forward to being with people, probably in summer. Ombud, great you got rid of the unwelcomed guest. Izena, good you are doing your walking. Mel, so glad you can visit your MIL. Take care, stay safe, Diana
Belle Posted March 10, 2021 Author #28 Share Posted March 10, 2021 Hi Diana---Your yard and garden is going to look so nice plus all the veggies you get to eat. I know it's hard to drink water when it's cold. I drink hot tea--it's water but not the same thing. It will start getting warmer I hope. Change the time Sat. night. Will be nice to see people again. Hope everyone gets the vaccine when then can. Will make everyone's town, city a safer place to live.

Belle Posted March 10, 2021 Author #31 Share Posted March 10, 2021 Susan glad you had a nice trip and back home safe and sound. Sure you'll get back on track soon. Good luck with the roof noise. Sorry your cruise was cancelled. Hope you can find another one you like. Diana I planned to cancel my cruise because they changed all the ports (made 2 cruises the same) and I found one for Oct. that was better. (both were b2b's. I don't want anyone's cruise cancelled but if they have to do the July one hope they do it before I have to cancel so I don't lose my deposits. Both were casino free inside rooms upgraded to balcony's and have to pay in full at time of booking. Here's wishing that cruises sail at least by fall. Wish the CDC would speak out and let the cruises know if they can sail. Shut down the cruise lines but never airlines or anything else and still not letting them sail. Is that fair with everything else opening? Give people a choice if they feel safe sailing or not. They do it with airlines. OK off my soap box. Take care and have a nice Wed. Izena Posted March 10, 2021 #32 Share Posted March 10, 2021 I’m glad I choose to change my April cruise to June of next year. update on my son. Symptoms bad headache. Sore throat, lots of sinus drainag, fatigue. Tela health dr. Visit, ... Wife is a home girl, nurse well connected. County calls daily and did contact tracing. He only went to basketball games when it was restricted to parents only. They think he got it at the doctors office. No one else in house is sick. They have a pulse ox gadget ( place on a finger and measures oxygen level) His sats are 98-100 . ( I was scared about the fatigue because when I had altitude sickness and pneumonia I was only fatigued — went to clinic my sats we’re in the 70’s). Will talk to my Houston son and we will be on alert to be ready to drive to TN. Just to see Chris through a window would help if he gets any worse. Izena Posted March 10, 2021 #34 Share Posted March 10, 2021 Found something to make me happy. I want to swim with the manatees. There is a place that not only lets you swim with the manatees but they also have a MERMAID certification course and you get to keep the fin. Alabaster Cruiser Posted March 10, 2021 #35 Share Posted March 10, 2021 Yes! Princess gave us the 14 day comp in place of the 7 day that was canceled! We have friends from Chicago on the 14 day so we really wanted it. Now just have to wait almost a year for it. Izena I hope your son does well. My son recently had covid and I was worried sick. He is his mother's son so therefore he also is overweight. That worried me. But other than fatigue and headache and nasal problems he did fine. Needless to say his pregnant wife had to move out during all this. So glad it is all over.
