Players Club Offer - Free Drinks Everywhere

I thought I saw something on this topic a month or so ago, but can't find it now.

I received a Players Club Offer (Jackpot Deal) that provided a free balcony, $200 free play, and free drinks everywhere on the ship - the rate code is FJ6.  I recall someone saying that this was for the recipient only, but I don't see that anywhere.  When I click on terms and conditions it states:  "This promotional offer is for the 1st/2nd guests only".  This is a great deal and I am trying to get in touch with my PVP to book a cove balcony on the Magic.  Has anyone else received this offer and do you understand it to include free drinks everywhere for the 2nd guest?

I emailed the Carnival Players Club casino department and asked them. My husbands offer included same as yours...free balcony, free drinks everywhere on ship, $200 free play. I also got Jackpot offer but only free drinks in casino. We booked in his name and casino dept. emailed me back saying I would only get free drinks in casino and he would get free drinks everywhere. So no, it was only for the person with the offer. www.cclpromos.com/carnivalplayersclub

Same here.  Still a great offer tho.

Jackpot offer is a great deal for us. The May 2022 cruise we booked with Jackpot offer now has Premier offer for my husband but it cost $2094 dollars more than his Jackpot offer did and only gives him drinks in casino! Glad we booked Jackpot in February! It was only $451 for lido balcony for 2 included taxes 8 night and drinks for him everywhere!

I received this offer under my vifp number, but my wife also received the same offer under her

number. Called our PVP, and she said we would both have the same offer,  $500 free play

each, and free drinks anywhere on the ship for each of us.

We received a similar offer. My husband qualifies for free drinks anywhere on the ship but I don't. Does anyone know how that would work if I wanted to purchase the Cheers program since you have to purchase it for everyone in your stateroom?

I'll probably still qualify for DOU on the first or second day so I guess it's not too big of a deal but it's really nice to be able to get a drink wherever you want.

I'm looking at booking using that offer as well.

I was just re reading the terms and conditions and it says at the bottom:

Drinks benefit is valid for the eligible VIFP Club Member. Must be 21 or older to purchase and/or consume alcoholic beverages. Due to Texas state law, our Drinks On Us! benefit is not available on embarkation day for sailings departing from Galveston, TX, but will be available at the start of day two. Additional restrictions may apply. Carnival Players Club® reserves the right to change or cancel this promotion at any time.

In regards to not having a suite as an option it does say it's capacity controlled so I bet they sold out on the number of suites and balconies they are willing to give out.

Now I just need the Canadian border to open up so I can do a Christmas cruise either from Long Beach or Miami 🙂

I have booked this deal and had the same question about getting the drink package for the 2nd person.  Called the casino number and the rep said that you would just purchase the single package on the ship.  You can't do it online ahead of time so the cost will be a little more.  We are going to use the OBC to purchase my husband's package since we don't buy anything on the ship or  do excursions.

I grabbed two of the free balcony ($100 less $100obc each for 7-day) offers with drinks in the casino and casino funny money, one for September and one for October.  I was looking today, thinking about November and December, but all my GREAT offers are gone, only GOOD ones left.  Anybody else have a similar experience?  I'm wondering if it happened because I took advantage in time or some other reason, I don't think they expired but they might have.

Those were nice grabs.  I think demand picked up so much that GREAT offers aren't necessary right now.  I know the Jackpot offer expired Friday (May 7th).  But it had long sold out on some ships like the Galveston ones.

I'm interested to see what happens if they make a no-kid-announcement. Will that cause enough people to cancel that they will be scrambling for guests again last minute?  Maybe we'll see some more deals.

To the OP, I received this offer too and my PVP confirmed it is drinks everywhere but only for me.

If your cabin mate also got the offer, you can both use your offers.  Otherwise, it is likely just you.

My Jackpot deal got extended to July 6th, along with 3 other offers (FVO, FHB, F1U)

Thanks.  I checked and mine did as well. Still nothing for my home port on that deal though. And nothing for 2021 at all.  Things will be constantly changing though I'm sure.

There are some Galveston cruises on the Elite offer I received this morning.

We have the same offers, wife received $100.00 offer for balcony or Suite, of course we took the suite, as it turns out you can ONLY use the offer code on 2 cruises, I had offers for a balcony for $100.00 and we booked 2 cruises for that offer code. Hope this info helps some.
