Late October- Weather?

If you are cruising for the beaches, then maybe you will "miss out" a bit. By mid-October some of the beach facilities may be closed although they are staying open later than they once did...

However, if you are NOT cruising for sea and sand, then mid-October is a perfect time to cruise the Med and better than August (which can be broiling) if you plan to do sightseeing. It will not only be cooler but also less crowded.

We have spent numerous Sept/Octobers in the Med.   Greece-Crete and Cyclades,  Sicily, Cyprus.

You never know about late Oct.  Last times in Sicily, Crete, and Cyprus we were on the beach in late Oct.  I looked up some some pics for our October 2019 stay in Cyprus.  It was 28-32C or the entire last two weeks of October.    We have also had some  intermittent rain on a few trips.  On some islands hotels, restaurants, etc do start to close up in mid October as owners prepare to return to the mainland.  When often depends on the then current trade and the weather.

Our choice is always spring or fall.  Never the summer months.
