PLT rate code???

We are book and paid in full for our Horizon cruise in late August.  Now i see the PLT rate. We could get a two balcony cabins and save $375 per cabin ( we currently have inside). Even with prepaying the gratuity with the cruise fare.  Do you think Carnival will allow this change or stick to the change policy after final payment?

It depends on what rate code you booked with.  I think "Early Saver" is the one that allows rate drops after final payment?  But not sure how it works when changing cabin types.

 

Call and ask, they can only say "no".

What rate did you book? If early saver you can price match, that's the big draw of booking early save.

It has to be the exact same cabin category for a price match. If they booked early saver.

With a name like pokerguy perhaps you booked a casino rate?  

If so, then contact the casino department and see what they can do. People have said they don’t price match on casino rates but they did for me.

Call Carnival. If you're booked Early Saver they can switch you to the balcony.

Well done audcc77. It is a CAS rate.  I will try to see if they can accommodate.
