How do you order bottles of wine and steaks from room service? I didn't know steaks were on the room service menu?

It’s not on the room service menu. But you can order from the pizza place or any of the restaurants and have food and alcohol delivered to your cabin. It goes onto your bill as a room service charge since it’s delivered to your cabin so the casino comps it if your offer includes room service.  Or at least they comped it for us.

In another thread someone mentioned that the perks for Journey's Elite cruises were different. Can anyone share the differences?

Thanks in advance!!

Pretty sure they were referencing the Platinum benefits.  So no priority boarding, debarkation etc.  but most of the Journey cruisers are Platinum or Diamond so it makes sense.

Elite also gives free drinks anywhere on the ship, not just in the casino.

The prize drawings are more money than Premier and Ultra.

More comps to Steakhouse and alternative restaurants and overall, more perks.

Can you tell me what the social wi fi plan is on the elite benefits

"Social" is the lowest of the three levels of WiFi access.  Social Wi-Fi Plan
Access the most popular social websites and applications including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, SnapChat and the most popular airline sites. Does not include access to most websites and email. Does not support Skype or access to video and music streaming (such as Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, Pandora). Cellular-network-dependent Wi-Fi calling and Facetime services are also not supported.

I have asked my Vacation Planner about upgrading from the Social Plan to the highest level, "Premium", and was told that I need to check with the Casino Host once on board.  I know the "Social" level will not be good enough for my wife.

when connecting to internet on your device, you’ll be prompted to upgrade service: $7/day for premium, $5/day for value.

Perfect!  Thanks for the info.  I don't want to be subjected to complaints from my Darling Wife about internet speed; she needs to stay connected for business.

That's the best way to do it. And if you're playing enough one of the 'ASKS' from the Casino host is to have that upgrade fees reimbursed. That's not something they normally offer, as opposed to a bottle of wine or a specialty restaurant dinner for to, or free steakhouse selection from the MDR, so you  would have to consult with the casino host.
