A distant ship upon the horizon.....

From our perch on a Welsh hillside (touring caravan holiday) we saw Silhouette sail by on the horizon after she had left Liverpool.

So nice to spot her, sincere best wishes to all on board!

The football was enjoyable too...not a bad evening!

Presumably that was a port stop! Presumably with Bojos new plans for libertarian COVID restrictions (none)  the ships will have easy pass everywhere but fortress Scotland.

We had a staycation on Anglesey rather than a cruise. Fantastic trip.

Was indeed a great night of football😀

Yes, life long fans...It was quite magical last night to see the Silhouette of Silhouette against the fading light..

I guess the only positive that has come from this year of so many negatives is appreciating the beauty and history on our doorsteps.

We drove over to Beaumaris this morning...natural beauty and thousands of years of history...

From our site (which we visit often) we look out to Puffin Island. We can see the remains of the monastery and having previously taken boat trips we know the seals and puffins are comfortable and protected there.

Much as we love to cruise the world it is lovely to remember the treasures only miles from our homes....

Much as we enjoyed the win we have nothing but admiration for the Danish team...

We had checked the Silhouette route on Marine traffic. We had the match on the small caravan TV with blinds down (it was very sunny in parts of Wales last night)....Every 5 mins we would lift up the blinds and look for that S class outline we know so well...Really special to spot her!

We were hoping to spot some cruise ships sailing by when we go to our static caravan in Fife. With the current Scottish government ban on cruise ships this unfortunately won’t be happening.

Hopefully you will thoroughly enjoy your stay with or without passing cruise ships...

I think all UK citizens with either static or touring caravans have been very grateful this year for the opportunity to holiday in a ‘home from home’... Enjoy your stay!

Yes, we will be back home by then and have a far more suitable screen to enjoy football although no where as near picturesque!

May the best team win!

You are only coming through in waves...

(sorry but someone had to say it).

‘Your lips move but I can’t hear what you are saying....’

But I can!

Far from from becoming ‘comfortably numb’ we are enjoying the ‘Best of British’ which is truly fantastic...We are missing our cruises but know we can enjoy life without them...
