Extended Balcony

There is no difference between the actual cabin size of a Standard Balcony vs. the Extended Balcony. The Extended Balcony cabins are situated over the lifeboats on both the port and starboard sides of the ship, and I believe you get an extra 25 square feet of space. Enough for two chairs and a table, and room to stretch out!

Depending on the ship, there are a variety of extended balcony cabin types - fwd, aft, etc.  But the general case is, the cabin is the same size (may have a slightly different internal configuration), but the balcony is usually around 150% the size of a regular balcony, sometimes twice or even more.

Interestingly, the balcony size information is inaccurate for many deck 10 cabins on the Mardi Gras.  I cannot understand why they are not listed/priced as extended balconies - the drone footage makes it very clear that these are large, partially exposed balconies.  It's even stranger that Carnival's knowledge base does not say anything about their larger size, or the fact that they are not fully funded.
