Yes. They had from 2-4 shows a night in the limelight lounge and one night they did a show in the main show lounge. With the lower capacity right now the two shows I went to were not full.

I can't say that I've ever eaten it. TBH I just wanted to get back out of the sun so I did not even consider it as an option plus we were on one of the last tenders back so I doubt it was still open.

well that was...disappointing.  Dinner took 3 hours. It didn't seem to be anyone's fault they were just woefully understaffed. The food was not bad. Much better than my recent experience on royal but not up to par with my expectations. And 3 hours?? Sheesh.

 

I'll post some food pics tomorrow and work on getting dinner menus and fun times posted as well. It is just me solo for the next leg of the cruise so I will have a lot more me time to post. 🙂

 

For now I'm going to turn in early and hope my sunburn is feeling better by morning. Night all.

Meeting time is 9 for B2B i think I'm gonna go for breakfast in the MDR this morning.

Debarcation is in full swing. I'm hanging out by red frog pub until its time to move to the meeting spot at 9. I don't remember where the meeting spot is oops.

I usually book with casino rates. I went to see about booking this cruise with a casino rate at the last minute. I was pretty happy with it, but then I saw the price with the cheers! included promo. I paid $140 more and lost $25 OBC. So for $33 a day I now have cheers!. I can make that profitable. I have already started with a milkshake. It was a nice treat!

 

Booking so last minute I did have to move rooms. I went from an inside on deck 3 to an inside on deck 2. I booked with no solo supplement so I can't be too picky about the room (it was the only room left with a solo rate available). I am very far forward, have a single bed (which doesn't face the tv 😱) and I expect it will likely be loud when the ship is in motion. But it was a pretty darn good rate especially as it was not a casino deal.

 

Despite the move to a different deck, I have the same cabin steward. That is insane that he has two decks assigned to him.

 

Going to play with my newly connected phone for a bit then think about some lunch and muster. I wasn't quick enough to avoid the crowds it is already jumping out there.

Quick question.....can you use OBC to get generic Carnival gift cards at Cherry on Top that you could use on a different cruise or are their gift cards specific to Sunrise?

They are generic carnival cards. The same ones you can buy online or certain grocery stores. You can purchase and use for anything a carnival gift card can be redeemed for.

Got some lunch. In a shocking turn of events didn't get cake today. I'm just not ream hungry. Crazy I know. 

 

Got me  a Bahama mama and took back to the room. 

 

 

I've rearranged my bed to face the TV. It blocks the couch a little but its just me in here.

 

Gonna try out the on-demand movies in the room then see if the weather will cooperate this week for sail away.

The weather held out today so I made it for sail away. I love sail away from Miami.

In front of us was Carnival Conquest.

Not sure what ship this is if I had to guess I would say its a Crystal ship I think that's their logo.

Dinner last night I'm happy to report was a huge success. Everything was so so good and I was in and out in under an hour.

 

For my starter I ordered the arinci and Nonnas meatball.

 

 

My my main I ordered the chicken parm with a side of broccoli and cauliflower.

 

 

For dessert I got the biscotti.

 

 

I also enjoy a nice peach bellini. 

 

 

Dinner was wonderful and I made reservations again for tonight before I finished dinner.

I tried to get a guys burger for breakfast but they were closed at 1015. I double checked the app said 1030. That's a huge pet peeve of mine.

 

I've moved over to brunch. Thankfully there are plenty of great food options to choose from.
