HMC was nice. I'm not a beach person but I told M I'd go with her since its her birthday tomorrow. It was not too hot so that was nice. I'm sure I'm still going to burn 🔥 

 

Starving now so in search of some food.

Lido was a bit busy as to be expected since we are all coming back. My assortment of goodies for lunch.

I never used to care for the creme Brule but I think I like it now.

 

The carbonara is a favorite of mine as well but they put onions in it now which I don't care for. I pick them out.

Yes, there is.  There was Latin Music in the Red Frog Bar and in the stage behind the lobby bar.

Agree yuck. I think they changed their recipe because it was like that on horizon too. So I need to fire someone at corporate lol.

When I was on Horizon two weeks ago they were. I would imagne it is the same protocol here but I don't know that for sure.

There are no Fun Times.  EVERYTHING is on your App, including the menus unless you make a special request.  You won't see much paper anywhere onboard with the exception of trivia and bingo.  Basically designed to avoid your touching anything other folks might subsequently handle.

Weelllll, that's not quite true. Fun Times ARE available. But you have to hunt for it. We found a printed Fun Times ALWAYS at Guest Services. And also as you are walking to the main pool at Lido deck. And also at Shore Excursions. It's a rare breed but they are available. With the inclusion on the Hub App, it is a dyeing breed. The Hub App, makes it MUCH more convenient. But as always, YMMV.

Dinner was excellent tonight. I missed this menu both trips on Horizon so I was glad to see it here tonight. I was not hungry enough to do it justice though lol.

 

For my starter I ordered the mozzarella sticks and the meatballs.

 

 

 

For my main I ordered the linguine.

 

 

For dessert I got the bitter n blanc.

We're in the casino now. Sadly i blew my budget the first night so I am just watching.

 

The casino host just came over and offered us the steakhouse for tomorrow. She picked up for all four of us which was real nice.

 

We have reservations to celebrate her birthday and I was going to buy for us so I could gamble a little now since I have some OBC left now. Hmm we will see.

Do you happen to remember what time Alchemy Bar opened on embarkation day??  Historically it opened after the group muster drills were completed, but some ships have recently seen the opening begin earlier, while passengers were completing their individual safety drill visits.
