Backing up a minute to finish up last night. 

 

I could still faintly see the Miami skyline as I headed to dinner. You can also faintly see my shirt reflecting off the glass I took this through lol.

 

 

After dinner Freedom of the Seas has caught up to us.

 

 

She would pass us for a while then later in the night she was either behind d us or perhaps we were going so slow that Meraviglia caught up. That's possible we have a sea day before our first port they don't.

After dinner I took it easy. Strolled the outside for a while. Listened to some music in red frog pub. I enjoyed a tasty deal closer from the alchemy listing to the singer there.

 

 

After that I spent way too much time on my phone watching cruise vlogs. Is it bad that I watch cruise vlogs while I'm on my own cruise? I might have a problem lol.

 

I finally put it down and went to sleep around 1. My sunburn pain level is down from a 10 to about a 6 so hopefully I can sleep tonight.

Cheers was a success yesterday. Easy to add up with the hub app storing my recites My bar total would have been 51.98 mostly thanks to all the non alcoholic drinks I had. $33 was my break even.

 

There was an extra drink rung up. I'll pretend it was an accident so nobody gets in trouble. I did not include it in my total to see how I made out.

 

I'm well on my way today with three mimosas down the hatch already. Time to slow down I am no marathon drinker.

 Brunch was good today. I got the  ranch spaghetti with a side of cheese grits and banana cream pie for dessert.

After brunch I played enough in the casino to get enough points for the fireball raffle. Now I can spend all afternoon running back and forth for the drawings hoping my name is called.

 

Heading to the first one now.

Total fail with the fun times. I can't get the picture clear enough to be readable. I'll post screenshots from the hub app which will have the same things listed just in a different format than what we are used to. These will be from the 5 day since I can't go back and grab from last cruise.

I didn't win any of the drawings but I can hope right lol. I did find a duck today.

 

 

The water was completely flat today. It looked like we were sailing through a lake today.

Lunch was a bite at guy's BBQ.

 

 

Last week that mac and cheese was so gross I took one bite and wasted the rest. This time I went back for seconds.

 

I skipped cake again to save room for dinner. I am heading there now but I've got to plan my timing better I cant keep missing out on that yummy cake.

Dinner was great again.

 

Some bread to start with as if I am not about to eat a ridiculous amount of food.

 

 

For my starter I ordered Nonnas meatball and the burrata. 

 

 

 

For my main I ordered the captain's special which is different on every ship.  I was reading st.greg's review while eating and saw that captain's dish is about the same except it had bacon and mine was with shrimp.

 

 

For dessert I had biscotti.

I spent my evening relaxing on serenity. Its a very small space but not being utilized much right now anyway. I'll find out how many are on board but it feels a little lighter than last week.

 

I checked out the omelet line. Pretty neat they have that option I hope it rolls out to more ships. It was probably a short wait but I did decide to pass. I've got a snack cake in the room from M's bday party that should hit the spot.

 

That's all for me for tonight I'm not really tired I may watch a little TV but I really want to make it to guy's for breakfast without clock watching when I'm trying to sleep 😅

I got spoiled with that double bed. I'm just not sleeping well this leg of the cruise with my single bed.

 

I made a mad dash for guy's this morning because I was cutting it close if they decided to close early again. 

 

Success!

 

 

That was much better than I expected.

 

It wasn't really a burger with an egg in it, more like an egg sandwich with a burger patty on it. The egg was not too runny, the patty not to greasy, and the maple donkey sauce was just kissing the bread not leaking everywhere like I envisioned.

 

It was still a little heavy for breakfast but it was not a hot mess like I thought it would be. Would recommend.

Thanks for reading! Two days after I leave Sunrise, pending another negative test, I'll be boarding Mariner of the Seas for 7 days so I'll have another review after this one 🙂
