Why can I not reserve shows?

Our cruise is less than 90 days out and we have been able to do all of our online check in and are able to book excursions and drink packages as well. On our last cruise, we could reserve our evening shows and aqua theatre shows online ahead of time. Now, I do not see that option. Do we still have to reserve shows? Does anyone know when we can do that? Thanks!

They aren't currently doing show reservations ahead of boarding because of capacity limits. You will be able to reserve onboard.

Currently, the shows have to be reserved onboard. Probably due to low capacity.

 

That could always change. Suggest checking every so often. 🙂

On most ships, because of lower capacity, you can’t reserve until you are on board.

I’m 20 days until I sail and still no documents or luggage tags to print.

Not all ships allow reservations, only oasis class and newer.

We are on Symphony in 21 days.  When we go to our account to planner and click on entertainment the page says.  
 

SORRY, WE CANNOT RESERVE THIS RIGHT NOW.

PLEASE TRY AGAIN ONBOARD THE SHIP.

If you book a full suite you automatically get great reserved seats for most shows (except comedy club)

Not anymore . Unless you are Star class, suite passengers are being sent letters form the concierge asking them to book their entertainment on the app once boarded.

On a different social media site there are several live blogs. A gentleman on Symphony right now as well as a few other peeps posted the letters.

Just on line this morning and was unable to book any shows on Odyssey of the Seas.  Headline Show 1 and Headline  Show 2 were not available.   Headline Show 3 is available but cannot book.   

 

Why would show 1
