Hair Dryers on Symphony

Help please. I’ve been on a couple previous RCL ships and the hair dryers had a button you had to hold down to make it go and it did not get very hot. Are the dryers on Symphony the same?  Hoping they’ve been improved, if not, I’ll pack my own. Thank you.

Take a strong rubber band.  Slip it over the handle of the hair dryer.  It will do the holding for you.  🙂

Definitely bring your own. They all suck, I have thick hair. I would be sitting all day to dry with them. Very little power.

They definitely still have the ones that you have to hold down even on the newer ships. Bring your own.

Just off the Symphony two weeks ago.

 

Yes the blow dryer has a button that you have to continually hold down. Or rubber band over button.

 

But, my thick shoulder length hair was dried in about 8-10 min.

 

Folks, it is not that painfully weak, and not a gail wind either.

 

But doable.

 

Safe your suitcase room for something else, like too much clothes you will never wear.

Agree. Just off Symphony.  Blow Dryers the same as all other ships.  A lot of noise and weak

Reporting back - just got off Symphony this morning. BRING YOUR HAIR DRYER!  I didn’t follow the advice here and regretted it all week. The hair dryer was weak and did not get hot enough to de-frizz my hair.
