How many formal nights on a Journeys 10 day cruise

With all the  cruise exchanges i have made over the last two years, I ended up with 2 10 day Journeys cruises.  Wondering how many nights I really need to pack fancy wear for, and if the menu is changed up at all.

Are there “formal” nights on a Carnival cruise ?

Two. I think the last time we did one it was the 2nd night and the last night but that could have changed. I think anything after 7 days has two formal nights

Well there are two formal or gala nights on a 7 day cru8ise, thinking there might be 3, but info is hard to find.

Ive never seen a formal night on the last night of a cruise since that’s the night you have to pack and get your luggage out.

Will most likely see 2 Elegant Nights, with a more relaxed dress code than Formal Nights of old. Feel free to dress up if you wish, others will wear slacks and a dress shirt or polo shirt. Some guests enjoy donning their finery for the many picture options these 2 evenings.

Lobster will be featured one evening and prime rib on the other.

Been on 6 Carnival Journeys cruises since the first one in 2015. Always 2 elegant nights and a 3rd called Captain's Cocktail Party where suggested attire was 'formal'.

That's exactly what i needed to know.  Well Ibought the dresses two years ago before the world ended, so i am ready!

We went on a 8 day carnival cruise end of October 2021 and elegant nights were 2nd night and the 7th night. (2 nights before debarkation.)

I have not done a 10 night but I have done an 11 night and a 14 night. On both of those we had two Elegant Nights plus one Captain's Night which was essentially the same thing.

 

I will say on the 14 night we did have Lobster on the Captain's Night as well as the first Elegant Night. (Good thing, because I missed it the first time around and would have skipped the Captain's night too until I just happened to take a look at the menu).

On Journey cruises there are the 2 usual elegant nights and a third optional elegant night on the throwback sea day.
