chrislo Posted November 15, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2021 Can we use the plastic(Gel) window clings on our cabin doors? I would think they would stick without ruining anything but I don't recall ever seeing them.
cruiseguy1016 Posted November 15, 2021 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2021 Are you talking about the little suction cups? Yes, those will stick to the doors.

If you are in a balcony room, they work well on the balcony doors, and you can spot your balcony from pier in port. Will work on OV window as well. We’ve used magnetic hooks to hang small stockings on the outside of the stateroom door. We’d see stateroom attendants smile as they dropped wrapped candies in the stockings, other passengers contribute things they got ashore (port magnets, Pens, etc), or even notes saying Happy Holidays. It was an “unexpected treasure hunt” every day. you can buy magnet sheets at Walmart, and cut some to size, to adhere to small Christmas decorations for the stateroom door. maureencruiser Posted November 15, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2021 I don't think the gel clings would stick. I got Christmas magnets at Dollar General.
Merion_Mom Posted November 15, 2021 #5 Share Posted November 15, 2021 "Clings" definitely won't cling to the metal doors. Things with magnets will.
FLCruiser97 Posted November 15, 2021 #6 Share Posted November 15, 2021 (edited) Gel will stay on the door. I just had a B-Day and used them on our cabin door. Edited November 15, 2021 by FLCruiser97
